My week end in Verona

Last April, my Mum and my Dad Who Doesn't Want To Be Called So took me to Verona! Daddy was pretending not to be happy about that, and I must admit he's quite a good actor...

It's a very romantic city: Juliet and Romeo lived there!
Here I am, by the river Adige: it was such a sunny day!
Mummy wanted to visit Juliet's tomb. Juliet was a girl who pretended to be dead, but she wasn't dead for real; but her boyfriend Romeo didn't know thas she was joking and he thought that she was really dead and he killed himself.... Ok, I know it's a bit confusing... It was hard for me to understand: maybe 'cause I'm too young and 'cause I'm a boy. But I DO know that girls do strange things!!!

In this picture I'm with William Shakespeare, the gentleman who made the story of Juliet and Romeo famous in all over the world.
And here I wanted to scare my mum:
Boooo!!! I'm a Zombie!!!
Here I am inside the chapel where Juliet was buried. I'm the small orange&brown thing inside that kind of ancient window.
My mum also wanted to visit the house where Juliet lived. She wanted a picture of herself acting like Juliet, on the famous balcony. By Juliet's house there is a courtyard were people in love write their messages on the walls. My mum would complain if I did it home and I agree: I don't think it's nice ruining an ancient wall with all those ugly writings. I wanted a picture close to the warning written in the white sheet: Please don't write on the machines (!!!)
We also visited a museum full of ancient toys!
Wooden horses, old children books, dolls...

... Hei, look at this one!
Isn't she scary?

My one day trip to Bomarzo

So my Mum and My Dad Who Doesn't Whant To Be Called So, took me to Bomarzo, a place between Florence and Rome.
Here are some pictures.
Look at the first one: am I not just as beautiful as a Greek god?
Well, the right answer is YES!!!
And I'm actually performing my "as handsom as a classic statue" pose:

Do you want to know why I'm talking about statues?
'Cause I was surrounded by them!
And they were HUGE!!!!

I saw Morla the tortoise from the movie "The never ending story" just behind Pegasus...
...a GIANT sleeping woman....

....and an elephant carrying a man!

While walking in the park, I also met a dragon fighting against a dog, a lion and a tiger!
Do you think I got scared?
No I didn't!

And look how brave I am!
I could even sit in the OGRE'S MOUTH...
... and take a rest close to a three headed dog!

Of course, my mum was always with me.

We went togheter in a hanging house: it was very strange walking in it!!!
Well, it was a wonderful trip and I bet my mum had fun as well!
CIOCCOBIMBO DECIDES THAT CAMILLA WILL BE THE FIRST ONE TO BE FOUND...

AND THEN... LOOKING FOR TOMMASO, DEXTER AND REMY!
BUT REMY?
WHERE IS HE?
WELL...

MY NEW CLOTHES FROM SUE!

Last week, I was peacefully enjoying my favourite book when...

... I heard my mum yelling like a fool!

In the beginning I wondered what was going on...

Then I understood and decided to get ready.

And I was right!

In the parcel there were TWO new outfits for me!

My mum explained that the parcel was from Susan, a very talented lady who can make little sweet masterpieces.

And my mum is always right!

Here's me, dressed like a basket ball champion! And look at the top: there' re beautiful embroideries and also my name!

And here's me in the sporty set: isn't it great?!?
It has nice embrioderies as well!

I'm so proud of my new clothes! And grateful!

And so is my mum!

So we want to send a big warm hug to Sue!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

MY HOLYDAYS IN SWITZERLAND

Well, this summer I went with my mum and dad on a short holyday in Switzerland. The funniest part was to camp, 'cause it was the first time for me!

Sleeping in a sleeping bag...

Staying up late telling scary stories...

Enjoying the nature...

Could't find any Smurf, thou...

We even met a kitten: mummy is "cat-aholic" and I'm sure she thought about taking him home! She met Remy The Cat in the same way. Abandoned in a camping in France!

We also visited some cities. Here is me in Geneva, by the lake. The fountain you can see in the back is the highest in Europe!

And here I am in Bern, close to the bears' den! They're there because the city takes its name from one of their ancestors: the founder decided, before a big hunting, to call the city with the name of the animal he would have caught, and he caught a bear.

I must admit these bears look quite sad...

Here I'm posing with an ancient Chocolate Factory in the background.

I'm still wondering if there was a Great Glass Elevator in it and how many OOmpa-loompa were working there!

BLUE+YELLOW= GREEN

One of these evenings, while I was knitting a scarf for my Grandpa...

Of course I couldn't understand what Tommaso meant to say, so I asked him to repeat again without his paci in his mouth:

They were arguing for real! And it had never happened in my patch before!

-Enough, you two! What's going on? Why are you arguing?- I asked

Poor Rudyard Romeo! He had just arrived in my patch...!
But he's as noble as his name suggests and
he had the perfect solution!
